It is a practice of expressing yourself through movement and dance using a prop that you can spin on or around your body. Inspired by the movements of classical dance, Barre also draws upon yoga, Pilates and functional fitness. This highly effective training improves muscle development, flexibility, posture and cardiovascular health. Class is conducted using a ballet barre with focus on small pulsing movements and emphasis on form and core engagement.
