The Curanderas Of Sunrise Springs
Our three traditional female folk healers or Curanderas use native healing practices to promote spiritual health, emotional balance and general well-being in private sessions.
Concha Garcia Allen
Curandera, Ceremonial Leader and Aztec Dance Leader Concha Garcia Allen is a Zapotec native from Oaxaca, Mexico. With over 30 years of experience, she is also a licensed mental health counselor and a licensed massage therapist. Concha leads our Sweat Lodge Ritual and Four Directions Ceremonies. Her Medicine Helper sessions use Somatic Experiencing to release unresolved contained energy manifested as pain.
Curandera and Spiritual Guide Jessica Ibarra is a Reiki Master, a Curandera in the Mexican Healing Tradition and a Tarot Card Reader. Originally from Puerto Rico, she has been helping people with their spiritual journeys since 2008. Jessica is guided by the wisdom of all faiths and feels that all religions are necessary.
Curandera Verónica Iglesias earned her master’s degree in Mesoamerican Studies from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and continued to study ancestral medicine with different indigenous healers in Mexico. She uses gem therapy, essential essences and the 52-card Jade Oracle Deck (which she co-created) to encourage healing.
