Spa Coordinator

The Spa Coordinator coordinates and schedules all spa services, pools, and other spa functions, such as spa groups. Participates in overall quality control of the spa. The Spa Coordinator also maintains retail inventory, assists in the preparation of the monthly retail inventory, merchandises the retail area, rearranges product, and alerts Spa Director of low inventory and when guests inquire about retail products. The Spa Coordinator opens and closes the spa, handles cash, and uses the spa software system. Adheres to all opening, ongoing and closing check lists. Communicates immediately to appropriate spa staff of any schedule changes, problems, guest or staff issues. The Spa Coordinator  follows strict grooming standards, looking clean, crisp and neat at all times.

Qualifications include:
• Minimum of two years of combined spa or hotel front desk and/or retail experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Strong computer skills, experience, and aptitude.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work under pressure with a high level of patience and respect for guests and co-workers.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, weekdays, and holidays required.
• Ability to work in a quiet environment where the employee may be exposed to weather extremes such as heat, cold and steam.
• Ability to stand for eight or more hours per day, sit, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures; and the ability to speak and communicate quietly yet clearly.

Human Resources Coordinator

Sunrise Springs Spa Resort seeks a Human Resources Coordinator to assist the Director of Human Resources and HR team members in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Departments at two resorts. Will perform a variety of administrative and record-keeping functions related to recruitment, on-boarding new hires, benefits, HRIS (HCM), report-writing, records management, employment law compliance, safety, and employee activities. Will graciously provide accurate and timely information to employees and applicants.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Two years of human resources administration experience at a medium sized organization.
2. Two years HRIS (HCM) system experience. Paylocity a plus.
3. Two years benefits administration experience. Knowledgeable of benefits laws and regulations.
4. Prior hospitality industry experience a plus.
5. Associates degree in business (or equivalent) preferred.
6. Organized, detailed, accurate and deadline driven.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Ability to handle confidential information and to be discreet.
9. Flexible; desire to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
10. Strong computer skills; proficient in an HRIS and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
11. Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.

Housekeeper

Landscaper

Sunrise Springs Resort, located in the beautiful La Cienega Valley among shade trees and ponds with an amazing landscape, seeks experienced landscapers. Duties include planting, maintaining, weeding, pruning and fertilizing ornamental trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns. May also maintain drip irrigation systems.

Qualifications:

Use hand and garden tools and work outside in a variety of weather conditions.
Perform heavy physical activity including: bending, squatting, stretching, standing and walking on the entire property.

Must be able to work flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, weekdays and holidays.
The position requires manual dexterity with the ability to follow written or oral instructions and to work with minimal supervision.

It is essential that candidates have an excellent driving record with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the resort.

Bell Person

Sunrise Springs Spa Resort in Santa Fe seeks a full-time Bell Person to join their Guest Services team. This position will work closely with Front Desk and Housekeeping, ensuring the highest standards of service and the best possible experience for all guests. The position can, at times, be fast-paced and require movement throughout our 70-acre resort. Presently, most of the hours will be in the afternoon and evening, typically working an eight or ten-hour shift and will be dependent on volume of guest arrivals and departures. The Bell Person will: • Escorts guests to their accommodations, provide luggage services, orient guests with the features and amenities of the property and their accommodations, and assist them in accordance with the resort’s mission and core values.
• Project an approachable and professional image in personal appearance, working closely with Guest Services Coordinators and Housekeeping staff to ensure all guests’ needs are met.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all resort features/services, experiential classes, room types, room rates and the daily house count.
• Maintain awareness of any special groups or activities on the property.
• Be familiar with meeting rooms and meeting room set-up options. Qualifications: • Clean driving record and the ability to drive a van to provide guest transportation services.
• Minimum of one year of hospitality experience, preferably in a resort setting, preferred.

Licensed Massage Therapist

Sunrise Springs Spa Resort, is seeking Licensed Massage Therapists for future opportunities.  We are in the process of growing our Spa and are creating a pool of potential LMTs.  LMTs at Sunrise Springs create distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. Our LMTs contract with us to provide highly skilled and professional holistic bodywork and spa services.

Responsibilities:

•Reviews each guest’s intake form prior to the initial meeting with the guest.
•Utilizes Sunrise Springs’ system to maintain guest records confidentially, consistently and accurately.
•Complies with policies and procedures, quality, safety, and infection-prevention protocols, as well as all applicable laws and regulations. Required Education,

Credentials and Experience:

•Minimum of 3 or more years of demonstrated experience in bodywork treatment and therapeutic services, preferably in Spas and or wellness organization.
•Experience/certification in at least 2 modalities: Deep Tissue, Hot Stone Massage, Body Scrubs, Face and Scalp Work, Reflexology, or Reiki.
•Ability and willingness to be trained in Sunrise Springs’ Spa Menu and company protocols.
•Currently licensed by the New Mexico Massage Therapy Board.
•Able to provide professional liability insurance.
