Licensed Massage Therapist

Sunrise Springs Spa Resort, is seeking Licensed Massage Therapists to join our Integrative Wellness Team. You will be an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. Our LMTs are to provide highly skilled and professional holistic bodywork and spa services while working closely in a synergistic team environment.

Responsibilities: •    Reviews each guest’s intake form prior to the initial meeting with the guest.
•    Utilizes Sunrise Springs’ Integrative System to maintain guest records consistently and accurately.
•    Complies with policies and procedures, quality, safety, and infection-prevention protocols, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.

Required Education, Credentials and Experience:

•    Minimum of 3 or more years of demonstrated experience in bodywork treatment and therapeutic services, preferably in Spas and or wellness organization.
•    Experience/certification in at least 2 modalities: Deep Tissue, Hot Stone Massage, Body Scrubs, Face and Scalp Work, Reflexology, or Reiki.
•    Ability and willingness to be trained in Sunrise Spring’s Spa Menu and company protocols.
•    Currently licensed by the New Mexico Massage Therapy Board.
•    Able to provide professional liability insurance.

Prep/Pantry Cook

If farm to table, organic, creativity and wellness are your passions, we want to talk with you! We are growing and adding to our kitchen staff.  The Blue Heron Restaurant, at Sunrise Springs Spa Resort, led by Executive Chef Rocky Durham, is seeking a Prep/Pantry Cook.  

The chosen candidate will have demonstrated experience as a Prep/Pantry Cook, a high school diploma (or equivalent), the ability to always maintain safe and sanitary food handling and storage procedures and a desire to ensure the best possible guest experience.   Position assists in preparation of meals, primarily the cold line, making salads and assisting with entrée preparation.

Preference will be given to candidates who graduated from an accredited culinary arts school and who have a background in natural/organic food preparation.  Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays is also required.  

Valid New Mexico Food Handler Certification Required.

Guest Services Coordinator - Second Shift

Sunrise Springs Spa Resort in beautiful La Cienega seeks a full-time Guest Services Coordinator! The Guest Services Coordinator works in the front desk operations of the resort, ensuring the highest standards of service and the best possible experience for guests, paying prompt and courteous attention to guests’ needs. This schedule for this position will be primarily second shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM), although this is subject to change as the needs of the resort evolve. Specific duties include:

•    Check-in and check-out guests in a confident, professional and gracious manner.
•    Provide personalized guest services, which may include spa or private class appointments, organizing/delivering room amenities, organizing off-property excursions, etc.
•    Maintain complete knowledge of all resort features/services, experiential classes, room types, room rates and the daily house count; maintain awareness of any special groups or activities on the property; be familiar with meeting rooms and meeting set-up options.
•    Project an approachable and professional image in personal appearance, hygiene and demeanor, while maintaining a clean and organized work area.    
•    Follow proper cash drawer, accounting, cash-out and close-of-shift procedures accurately.

Minimum of two years of hospitality experience, preferably in a resort setting, required. Computer skills, experience and aptitude to include MS Office software and property management systems required; Agilysys experience a plus. Accurate cash handling skills required.     Ability to work evenings, weekends, weekdays, and holidays required. Ability to walk or stand and move about the resort (both indoors and outdoors) for eight or more hours per day, sit, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb stairs, push and pull items weighing up to 40 pounds.

Reservationist - Part Time

Sunrise Springs Spa Resort in beautiful La Cienega seeks a part-time Reservationist! The Reservationist is responsible for creating an outstanding first impression over the phone, driving resort sales by presenting the resort experience to our guests, providing exceptional service by anticipating guests’ needs and assisting in booking reservations at spa, restaurant and other resort amenities and activities. This position will work up to 20 hours per week with the flexibility to work various shifts on weekends, weekdays, holidays and/or evenings based on the evolving needs of the business. Specific duties include:

•    Answer telephone calls in the Reservations Department promptly, courteously and according to established protocols.
•    Upsell rooms and treatments according to established procedures to maximize resort average room rate and revenue.
•    Assess guests’ requests and inquiries, offering creative suggestions and recommendations tailored to guests’ unique needs.
•    Input complete guest reservation information into resort management systems accurately and according to established protocols.
•    Maintain a professional demeanor by exhibiting a positive attitude toward employees, managers and guests, modeling the resort’s core values.

Minimum of 1 year previous reservations/sales experience in the hospitality industry, preferably at an upscale hotel or resort, required. High school diploma (or equivalent) required; college degree preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; experience in resort/hotel software strongly preferred; experience with Agilisys a plus. Ability to enter data quickly and accurately while communicating with guests on the phone. Must be available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability to sit for long periods of time in close proximity to other employees, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb stairs, push and pull items weighing up to 20 pounds.
