Food and Beverage Supervisor

As part of the F&B supervisory team at Sunrise Springs Spa Resort, the chosen candidate will supervise the Blue Heron Restaurant, Moonhouse Lounge, and banquet events. This is a roll-your-sleeves up position that requires attention to detail and to creating the ultimate in guest experiences. Candidates must possess a demonstrated understanding of fine dining and the highest levels of quality restaurant service. Our Food and Beverage Supervisors ensure that all restaurant and lounge activities are performed professionally and efficiently. The chosen candidate must be a solution-oriented professional who demonstrates flexibility, adaptability, leadership, respect for others, and a can-do attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 1 year experience in a food and beverage supervisory position.
• Extensive server experience in an upscale resort and food and beverage
• Experience in training and overseeing a staff of at least 10 food and beverage employees.
• Experience with Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) and supervising events.
• Experience with POS and implementing SOP’s
• Able to effectively collaborate with department managers and supervisors
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral; computer literate.
• Able to work weekends, evenings, and weekdays.
• Able to meet the physical demands of the position.

Licensed Massage Therapist

Sunrise Springs Spa Resort, is seeking Licensed Massage Therapists for future opportunities.  We are in the process of growing our Spa and are creating a pool of potential LMTs.  LMTs at Sunrise Springs create distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. Our LMTs contract with us to provide highly skilled and professional holistic bodywork and spa services.

Responsibilities:

•Reviews each guest’s intake form prior to the initial meeting with the guest.
•Utilizes Sunrise Springs’ system to maintain guest records confidentially, consistently and accurately.
•Complies with policies and procedures, quality, safety, and infection-prevention protocols, as well as all applicable laws and regulations. Required Education,

Credentials and Experience:

•Minimum of 3 or more years of demonstrated experience in bodywork treatment and therapeutic services, preferably in Spas and or wellness organization.
•Experience/certification in at least 2 modalities: Deep Tissue, Hot Stone Massage, Body Scrubs, Face and Scalp Work, Reflexology, or Reiki.
•Ability and willingness to be trained in Sunrise Springs’ Spa Menu and company protocols.
•Currently licensed by the New Mexico Massage Therapy Board.
•Able to provide professional liability insurance.

Line Cook, Part-time

If farm to table and creativity are your passions, we want to talk with you! The Blue Heron Restaurant at Sunrise Springs Spa Resort seeks a dependable and high energy line cook to complete our culinary team.

The chosen candidate will have a minimum of three years of demonstrated experience as a Line Cook, a high school diploma (or equivalent), the ability to always maintain safe and sanitary food handling and storage procedures and a desire to ensure the best possible guest experience. Preference will be given to candidates who graduated from an accredited culinary arts school. Ability to work evenings and weekends is required.

Maintenance Tech

The major responsibility in this position is to accomplish a variety of maintenance and engineering functions of this 70 acre Resort. This person must understand the practices, procedures, techniques, tools and technologies of facility and property maintenance, project maintenance, and engineering in order to deliver high quality and efficient performance deliverables.  Must be able to interact well with co-workers and guests.

Qualifications:

•At least three years experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably at a resort or hotel.
•General knowledge of the tools, methods and materials used in building maintenance work.
•Ability to use a variety of hand tools and equipment, measure distance and calculate quantities, and read blueprints.
•Specialized repair abilities or experience in a minimum of one of the following areas preferred: general carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and/or electrical.
•Ability to pass drivers background check, operate light to heavy machinery, vehicles, and equipment.
•High school diploma (or equivalent).
•Ability to use a computer or other technology devices.
•Problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
•Certified Pool/Spa Operator (CPO) Certificate a plus.
•Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form, receive and give instructions, and prepare work orders and reports, including via the use of a computer or other device.   
•Must be able to work flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, weekdays and holidays.
•Ability to walk or stand and move about the resort (both indoors and outdoors) for eight or more hours per day, move on and climb a ladder, sit, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
•The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
